Entitled “First World War Tanks in Lincolnshire”, the 44 page booklet tells the story of the National Savings Scheme in WW1, the tanks employed in supporting the scheme, and the tour of Lincolnshire made by “Egbert”. It also goes on to record the towns and places in Lincolnshire that receive a Presentation Tank telling the story of their arrival and disposal.
The booklet is priced £4.99 plus P&P and contains many photographs from the authors private collection. This would make the ideal gift for the “tank Nut” in your family or anyone interested in Lincolnshire History. Use the contact form above to order.
